The East End of Galveston saw 2.7 million visitors this past year, followed by Midtown at 2.3 million, and West Seawall Blvd. at 2.2 million.*

On average, TxDOT annually collects 82,000 short-term traffic volume counts and around 1,000 vehicle classification counts. Augmented by over 300 permanent traffic counters that collect data 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, these short-term counts help determining the Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) numbers by location.
Generally, two rail trolleys provide transportation service 10 am - 7 pm Wednesday - Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day and operate the remainder of the year from 10 am - 7 pm Friday - Sunday.
Seawall trolleys provide transportation service 10 am - 8 pm Wednesday - Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day and operate the remainder of the year from 10 am - 8 pm Friday - Sunday.
