RailFest: Model Train Rally
🚂 All aboard for RailFest: Model Train Rally at the Galveston Railroad Museum! 🛤️ This two-day event brings together collectors, clubs, and train lovers of all ages for the largest model train rally in the region. Wander through stunning, Texas-sized displays—including the in-progress “Grandpa’s Train” restoration, with master model maker Ray Byer on hand to answer questions and demo his work.
Kids and families can enjoy hands-on activities, blacksmith demonstrations, rides on the Harborside Express, and tasty treats from the Railyard Café. All museum exhibits will be open throughout the weekend, making this a full steam-ahead experience for everyone!
