Join us this Juneteenth for a powerful day of remembrance and celebration at Reedy Chapel AME—the site of Galveston’s first citywide emancipation celebration. You’ll retrace history during the re-enactment march, enjoy family-friendly festivities, and unite with our community where freedom first rang out in Texas. Let’s celebrate where it all began.
