ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kristen Williams is a Galveston-based fiber artist specializing in macramé and handwoven textiles crafted in her home studio. Inspired by the islands landscape & lifestyle, her desire to bring a modern revived touch to the world of macramé, and the depth of her personal reflections, Kristen’s work captures the essence of lived moments and introspective thoughts. She ties her experiences into each piece, playing with patterns and textures alongside ceramic elements as a nod to her wife, ceramicist Erica Williams. Passionate about sharing her craft, Kristen also offers online classes, inviting others to explore their creativity and connect through the art of fiber.
