Galveston Children’s Museum
Where learning is child’s play.
Located on the ground floor of Moody Mansion, the Galveston Children’s Museum is a bright, hands-on world built just for curious minds ages 2 to 10. With interactive exhibits like the Kids Clinic, Building Zone, and Tinker Workshop, every visit sparks imagination and discovery through the power of play.
Founded in 2014 by educator Nancy Schultz, the museum was born from a vision: to create a joyful, enriching space where children explore, investigate, and create in a way that builds lifelong learning skills. Today, it continues that mission with daily programming, birthday parties, field trips, and special events designed to engage kids—and their grown-ups, too.
Fueling curiosity. Building brains. Inspiring play.
