Beach Pocket Park 1

Pocket Park 1 in Galveston, TX is a great place to host a picnic or BBQ and spend the day with friends or family on one of the West End beaches.
At Pocket Park 1, you can drive your vehicle right onto the sand, so your cooler and other belongings are never more than a few steps away from your beach towel!

Just a few miles past Galveston's Seawall, the West End is a great spot for relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. Put your lounge chair right at the water's edge and savor the feeling of the waves lapping at your feet, while you enjoy a cold drink (no glass please, but cans are okay). Your furry family members are welcome too, but they must be on a leash.
