Postoffice St. Mural Wall

Take a stroll down Postoffice Street and you will find a mural brought to the community by an organization called the Galveston Kindness Project. This group is dedicated to spreading kindness as an action, instead of just as a nice word or thought. Our favorite photo op here is the umbrella, but we’ll let you choose yours!

The McGuire-Dent Recreation Center Turtle Wall

One of our favorite murals is clearly visible from Seawall Blvd and takes the form of a full-length sea turtle mural. Painted by island local Gabriel Prusmack & unveiled in 2017 by the Turtle Island Restoration Network and NOAA’a Flower Garden Bank National Marine Sanctuary, this 3D mural is something to behold!
